On ASDLittles.com, I use identity-first language, as opposed to person-first language. I respect all forms of self-reference and have chosen to use identity-first as a way to recognize, affirm, and validate the autistic identity and experience. File Folder Activities for Assessment, Independent Work, and more

Manila file folders are an inexpensive office supply with a wide variety of uses! File folder activities are a classic staple in ASD and DCD classrooms. A basic file folder activity consists of laminated sheets attached to the insides of the folder and Velcro-backed pieces that students use to match or sort. The best thing about these activities is that they can be reused over and over for as long as the materials hold up.
